Société Générale des Banques is being built in the new CFC business district, Casablanca Finance City. Its 31,000 m² will include the headquarters of Société Générale, a campus, as well as various tertiary spaces.
Methodology
Tisseyre + Associés has developed a joint working methodology with architects and town planners. Thanks to our 3D and 4D modeling tools for sound phenomena in the environment, BIMAE®, and in workspaces, Intelligibility®, we provide project management teams with acoustic models of the project as it is future completion from the design phase. In this way, it is possible to facilitate arbitration according to several scenarios, to anticipate constraints and to integrate acoustics into the architecture. From then on, we can prescribe and size tailor-made solutions so that they satisfy both acoustic and aesthetic constraints.
Tasks
Environmental acoustic mission
Environmental Acoustic BIM, BIMAE®, both a tool and a method, models soundscapes in the future state of completion by taking into account the noise of neighboring transport routes and that of human activities throughout the day. Our 4D models make it possible to visualize at the foot, on the facade and around the building the acoustic impact of the various sound sources, from the design phase. By taking into account the sound interactions of the future neighboring buildings of the My Way project, we were able to:
Optimize the project's façade insulation based on exposure to noise from future transport routes in this business district;
Dimension integrated acoustic solutions so that the noise from the technical equipment of the offices does not pollute the neighboring dwellings.
Noise impact of technical equipment on the environment
Noise impact of transport routes on the building
Acoustics of work spaces
Thanks to the modeling of different types of operation, we have developed fixed and mobile partitions thanks to our tool for digital models of open spaces in operation, Intelligibility®. Real support for joint work with the architect, these models make it possible to anticipate acoustic solutions according to the needs of users in order to integrate them into the architecture. An open space must meet mainly 3 criteria in terms of acoustics:
Easy communication between employees, it must be intelligible
Concentration on intellectual tasks, the ambient noise level must be controlled
Acoustic discretion between the teams, the different activities must be isolated.
All these factors being co-dependent, it is essential to anticipate them in order to ensure the acoustic quality of a workspace.
